Colchester Jamiah Masjid CIO, based at 18–22 Vineyard Street CO2 7DG in the heart of Colchester, is a registered charity dedicated to worship, Islamic education and community support. The Masjid welcomes people of all ages and backgrounds, providing the five daily prayers, Jumu’ah prayers and guidance from our permanent Imam. We offer Qur’an, Tajweed, Hadith and Islamic studies courses for children, young people and adults at different levels. Alongside religious education, the Masjid actively supports charitable initiatives and families in need. Our mission is to provide a welcoming place where our community can worship, learn, support one another and strengthen their connection with Allah.
